Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
  • 100 g Fine flour (maida)
  • 100 g Butter (At room temperature)
  • 100 ml Cola Drink (Any )
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Baking powder
  • 25 g Cocoa powder
  • 250 g Home made Ganache (made form chocolate and cream)
  • 200 ml Condensed milk
  • 10 Red cherry (pieces)
  • Chocolate decorations (As per requirement)
  • 50 ml Sugar syrup (made by boiling sugar and water)
Instructions
  1. Sieve fine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl
  2. Beat butter in a bowl till it becomes soft. Do not over beat.
  3. Add condensed milk and beat again
  4. Mix ingredients of step 1 in above mixture
  5. Mix all ingredients using cut and cold method
  6. Add cola drink and mix again so that mixture becomes thick in consistency
  7. Pour the mixture into a greased can
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees
  9. Pull out the cake and let it cool down for 2-3 hours at room temperature
  10. Remove the top part and cut the rest cake in two equal parts
  11. Apply some ganache over base and put 1st part of cake over it
  12. Moisturize the cake with sugar syrup
  13. Apply ganache over the cake using a spatula
  14. Put 2nd part over the 1st part and repeat the same process
  15. Cover the cake with ganache and smoothen the top part and edges using a spatula
  16. Clean the excess ganache
  17. Let the cake set in refrigerator for 2 hours
  18. Decorate with red cherry and home made designer chocolates
Recipe Notes

  1. Don't apply ganache until cake becomes cool enough
  2. You can use normal water also in place of sugar syrup
  3. If you don't have cherry then you can use other fruits also
