  • Boil water in the pan
  • Add salt in the water
  • Add rice savian in the water
  • Boil for 1-2 minutes till savian become soft
  • Drain the savian
  • Heat oil in the pan
  • Add ingredients one by one as given in next step
  • Add peanuts, almonds, cashew nuts, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilies, red chilies and urad dal
  • Keep stirring
  • Roast till all ingredients turn brown
  • Add asafoetida, turmeric powder and salt. Salt should be added in the end.
  • Stir properly
  • Switch off the gas/heater
  • Add boiled savian and mix the ingredients properly
  • Garnish with coriander
  • Rice savian are ready to serve. Serve hot.

Notes

  1. Do add salt in boiling water otherwise rice savian may turn sticky.
  2. You cany buy these Rice savian from any Indian store.
